Calgary Migratory Response Team Volunteers
We are so fortunate to have arguably the best team of volunteers in Calgary. Without you, we would not be where we are today. Together we conducted two months of Fall Surveys successfully – the first such effort in Calgary since the mid 1990’s and rescued multiple animals that may not have survived without you.
In March 2020, we were part way through our volunteer orientations, excited to welcome more to the team. Unfortunately, two or our four sessions had to be cancelled when the world learned of Covid-19. Our of an abundance of caution, our Spring Survey plans were placed on hold.
We are currently setting up on-line orientations for those who were registered for the cancelled sessions. We are also arranging some team learning sessions on-line with the many great experts we have in our circle and to get to meet with one another.
For those who are out walking or running anyway, under the direction of health officials, we ask that volunteers and other citizens can keep an eye out for any strikes or injured animals we happen upon.
